MEDICAL WRITING RATES

Most freelance medical writers do not publicly disclose their rates.

And there are some good reasons for this, not least the significant variability that can exist between projects. Additionally, more experienced writers may charge a higher hourly rate than junior writers, yet are likely to complete the work far more quickly and with fewer revisions. This makes it difficult to directly compare prices between writers.

Nonetheless, I think that it is helpful to provide a rough idea of pricing, enabling you to gauge whether I am likely to be able to deliver your project within your budget.

To give an idea of the costs of fixed-fee projects, I have provided some rough estimates for typical projects below. However, these are only ballpark figures and the final agreed price may vary depending on the scope of the work.
